Hello All! Well well well, it is the last Wednesday in October meaning we have officially entered Scorpio season. Scorpios are characteristically described as passionate, perceptive, and harsh, with an unstoppable determination. Makes sense seeing as their ruling planets are Mars: the planet of action and Pluto: the planet of transformations driven from our subconscious forces. As Scorpio is a water sign-shocker, I know- these assets come from a depth within that dives into the core. Lets go ahead and add in the fact that we are already in Eclipse Season, with the cherry on top of the Lunar Eclipse coming up this Saturday on the 28th ALONG WITH THE FULL MOON in the sign of Taurus. Whew. You feeling as energetically pulled as I am?
A little recap on Eclipse's, they are all about change and transformation. While the Solar Eclipse on the 14th was about opening the portals for new beginnings, the Lunar Eclipse is about helping us to complete journeys and shifting our courses. They are known for revealing the truth, in all aspects of your life, in a dramatic way; being sure to help deliver a reality check. Awesome. The Full Moon goes right along with this as they represent releasing and closure of the old. Taurus, an Earth zodiac; known as a "homebody" sign, reminds us to take care of ourselves and find safety deep within during this time of being pushed from our comfort zones in order to expand.
Alright. That's a lot. Let's pull a card for this week for a bit of guidance on where our attention can be directed to help us during this energetic pull.
Deck: Human Spirit Oracle Learning to Reconnect, Jena Dellagrottaglia Card: 26 Bound for Boundaries Message: "Cross this line, I dare you... it is time to put up your fences, set boundaries and keep them in place. Now is the time to know what your boundaries are. Sometimes we do things to please people or avoid conflict, it's acceptable to close your gates and say no or no more. Everyday situations sometimes have us stretching our boundaries, whether at work or home. This can leave you feeling uncomfortable, it can leave you feeling somewhat resentful, or perhaps even leave you feeling like everybody's doormat. You have permission as the captain of this ship to recognize this moment and steer clear of it."
I would just like to add as a people pleaser "in recovery" I know how extremely hard it can be to set up and actually follow through with your boundaries. This includes the boundaries that you set within for yourself to follow, not just externally. Saying "no" can sometimes feel like the hardest thing you've ever done. It really comes down to choosing your hard. Do you suffer the anxiety and uncomfortableness of saying no while also feeling relief and learning that it gets easier the more you do it, or do you suffer the hard resentment that follows the internal torture of constantly going against yourself.
I am here to tell you right now that you are so incredibly worthy of the peace that follows you doing what's best for you. Standing up for yourself and loving yourself enough to follow your heart shows the immense bravery and strength you have.
If this post relates to you in anyway please feel free to message me for a scheduled one-on-one session. I offer sessions with or without the cards.
You got this! Have a great week.
